Rules of Play
Last updated: August 20, 2026
Respawn turns your real-world habits into a role-playing game. These Rules explain how the game works and how to keep it fair for everyone.
1. The Game Is You
Your stats (Strength, Speed, Stamina, Dexterity, Intelligence and your energy/vitals) reflect activities you actually do: workouts, stretching, studying, sleep, hydration and nutrition. XP, levels, quests and buffs are game mechanics layered on top of that real data.
2. Play Honestly
Log entries that reflect what you genuinely did. Fabricating workouts, spoofing health data, tampering with on-device data, or automating fake activity to farm XP undermines the experience and may result in reset progress or account suspension.
3. Quests, XP & Buffs
Daily quests, XP multipliers, recovery windows and buffs/debuffs are generated from your data and may change as we tune the game. Progress and rewards have no monetary value, cannot be bought or sold, and may be adjusted, recalculated or reset, for example after a balance change or a detected exploit.
4. This Is a Game, Not a Coach
Quests, AI coaching, meal/workout suggestions and recovery guidance are for motivation and entertainment. They are not medical, dietary, or professional fitness advice. Push yourself sensibly, respect your limits, and see “Health & Safety” in the Terms & Conditions before acting on any recommendation.
5. Respect Other Players
Any name, Hunter ID or shared content you create must not be offensive, impersonate others, or infringe anyone's rights. We may reclaim or change IDs that violate these Rules.
6. Fair Access
Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the game, its servers, or other players' data. One human, one account, unless we say otherwise.
