Subscription Terms

Respawn Pro and Respawn Ultimate are auto-renewing subscriptions sold through the App Store. These terms explain what each plan includes, how billing works, and how to cancel.

1. Plans and What They Include

Respawn Pro includes 4 AI meal scans, 4 AI study packs and 50 AI coach messages each day, plus AI analytics insights and PDF study material. Once a daily allowance is used up, Pro falls back to coins at the standard coin price.

Respawn Ultimate includes unlimited AI meal scans, study packs and coach messages, plus AI analytics insights and PDF study material. Ultimate never spends coins.

Daily quests, XP, levels, stat tracking, health syncing and every non-AI feature are free on every plan, including no plan at all.

2. Coins

Without a subscription, AI features are paid for with coins: 10 coins per meal scan, 10 coins per study pack (which includes one quiz from that pack), and 4 coins per coach message. Your balance is topped up to 20 coins once per day whenever it is below that. It is a top-up to a floor rather than an addition, so an unused balance does not accumulate day over day. You can also earn 10 coins by watching a rewarded ad, up to 5 times per day.

Coins are a game mechanic. They have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold, exchanged or transferred, and are forfeited if your account is closed.

3. Price, Billing and Auto-Renewal

The price of each plan is shown in the app before you confirm, in your local currency, and varies by App Store storefront. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically. Your Apple Account is charged for the next period within 24 hours before the current one ends, at the then-current price for your plan, unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before that point.

4. Managing and Cancelling

You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in Settings on your device, under your Apple Account, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end the period you have already paid for, and you keep your plan until that period runs out. Deleting Respawn does not cancel a subscription.

5. Free Trials and Introductory Offers

If a free trial or introductory offer is available, it is stated on the plan before you subscribe. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Eligibility is decided by the App Store, and an offer can normally be used only once per subscription group.

6. Changing Plans and Restoring

Pro and Ultimate sit in one subscription group, so you can move between them and the App Store handles the proration. Within the App Store you can hold only one of the two at a time.

Use Restore Purchases on the plans screen to re-apply a subscription on a new device or after reinstalling. Your plan is tied to the Respawn account you are signed in to, and to the Apple Account that paid for it.

7. Refunds

Purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple, and refunds are at Apple's discretion under its own terms. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refunds for App Store purchases cannot be issued by Respawn (operated by Akshansh Shrivastava and Somesh Bachani).

8. Changes to Plans, Allowances and Pricing

We may change what a plan includes, the daily allowances, the coin costs, or the subscription price. Material changes are surfaced in the app, and a price increase does not take effect for an existing subscription until you agree to it, in line with App Store rules. AI features depend on third-party services and may be unavailable from time to time.

9. Where These Terms Sit

These Subscription Terms form part of the Terms & Conditions, and the Privacy Policy describes how your data is handled. Where the two disagree on a subscription question, these terms apply.
