By creating an account or using Respawn, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.

1. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country) to use Respawn. You're responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

2. Health & Safety Disclaimer

Respawn is a fitness and wellness game, not a medical service. Its content, AI coaching, and recommendations are for informational and entertainment purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical, dietary, or fitness advice. Consult a qualified professional before starting any exercise, nutrition, or hydration program, especially if you have a medical condition. Stop and seek help if you feel unwell. You use the app and act on its suggestions at your own risk.

3. Acceptable Use

Don't misuse the service: no reverse-engineering, no interference with servers or other users, no fraudulent data or automated abuse, and no unlawful, infringing, or offensive content. See the Rules of Play for game-specific conduct.

4. Your Content & Data

You retain ownership of the data you provide. You grant Respawn the limited license needed to store, process and display it to operate the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Virtual Progress

XP, levels, quests, ranks and buffs are part of the game, have no cash value, and may be modified or reset. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

6. Third-Party Services

Respawn relies on third parties including Apple HealthKit, Google Health Connect, Google Firebase and Google Gemini. Your use of those integrations is also subject to their respective terms, and we're not responsible for their services.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Respawn (operated by Akshansh Shrivastava and Somesh Bachani) is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for injuries or health outcomes arising from your use of the app or reliance on its content.

8. Termination

You may stop using Respawn and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or the Rules of Play.

9. Changes, Assignment & Governing Law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be surfaced in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign them, together with your account and the data described in the Privacy Policy, to a successor entity such as a company later formed to operate Respawn, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Your rights under these Terms are not reduced by such a transfer, and we will surface the change in the app.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
